Case Study: Donation Program
Global Philanthropic Access & Patient Support
Powered by TannerCares.
The Challenge
Across low- and middle-income countries, rare disease patients often face significant barriers — from limited diagnostic pathways to inconsistent access to essential treatments and supportive care products.
Select patient organizations and global non-profits needed specialist support to design and deliver practical, compliant access solutions for families with urgent, unmet needs.
Our Approach
Through TannerCares, the philanthropic arm of our company, we collaborated with advocacy groups and NGOs to deliver targeted, patient-focused support. Each initiative was handled with the same regulatory diligence and compassionate approach that underpin Tanner’s global access program.
This included:
Funding and expertise to the GARD access initiative through PQMD
Supporting the Alagille Syndrome Alliance to design a pilot program providing vitamins and essential products in Latin America
Coordinating with Global Genes, the Joshua Frase Foundation, and local hospitals to deliver specialized medical equipment to a pediatric patient in Ecuador — all at Tanner’s cost.
